Racquetball Drive Serve - Release the Ball

Simply Let the Ball Drop, As You Finish Your Step and Begin to Rotate Your Trunk and Shoulders Back for Your Backswing

Steve Hufford
As you complete the step with your rear foot, drop the ball and take your racquet back in preparation for a full swing. You should turn your shoulders back toward the back wall as well, in order to have a full windup that will give you power when you swing. A lot of the power in your shot comes from trunk rotation, so be sure to rotate your trunk during your backswing so that your shoulders face back towards the back wall.
