Squash Forehand Short Rail Drill - Make Contact Again at Sock Height

Step Into Your Shot, and Hit the Ball Along the Side Wall Again

Step forward with your front foot, watch the ball closely, and hit the ball straight to the front wall again. The ball should hit the front wall about one foot above the tin - higher if you are hitting slowly; lower if you are hitting hard and can hit with sufficient control. It is best to begin the drill by hitting slowly, and by having the ball contact the front wall at least two feet above the tin.
