Squash Forehand Volley Drill - Step Towards Center If Needed

Stay A Good Distance Away From the Ball. Step Towards the Center of the Court If Needed.

Steve Hufford
Keep watching the ball and if the ball comes back towards you, far away from the side wall, you may need to step back towards the center of the court. Step towards the center of the court with your left foot so you can stay a good distance away from the ball, and have room to hit your next volley. Turn your shoulders again so your torso is facing the side wall. This also helps you take your racquet fully back.
