Good Squash Comes With Good Control of the Squash Racquet, and Good Eye Contact

Hit Another Controlled Forehand

Steve Hufford
This squash drill can help you with several techniques that are fundamental to good squash; for example, good racquet control and good eye contact. As the squash ball bounces, watch it closely and move your feet so that you can time your forehand to hit the ball right in the middle of the strings, right when the ball is opposite your front foot. Don't hit hard -- the purpose of this drill is to establish good control and give you familiarity with the dull bounce of the squash ball.
