Squash Fun - End Your Volley Drill With a Volley Nick for Squash Fun

Maximize Your Squash Fun! End With a Cross-Court Volley Nick

Steve Hufford
After you have hit enough high backhand and forehand volleys to feel comfortable, you can end the drill by hitting down on the ball -- aiming for a low crosscourt volley nick. This shot is a great way to end a point definitively during a match, and it's a lot of fun. If you hit it correctly, it's an outright winner. Definitely some squash fun, and a good way to end the drill. Note that the striker is hitting the ball well out in front of him, and is transferring his weight into the shot.
