Alternating Drives Drill - Make Ball Contact Even With Front Leg
Hit the Ball When It Comes Back Even With Your Front Leg
Your goal should be to time your steps and your swing so that you make contact with the ball right when it is even with your front leg. That will make your drive go straight towards the side wall (rather than going at some angle other than 90 degrees). The straighter you can hit, the easier this drill becomes.
