Intermediate Squash - Let the Ball Drop to the Center of the Strings

Hit the Ball Gently, Straight Up Towards the Ceiling

Steve Hufford
Let the ball drop to the center of your strings as you move your racquet slightly upwards. You should move your racquet up only enough to hit the ball about two or three feet into the air. Try to hit the ball straight up towards the ceiling. This requires that your racquet face be absolutely horizontal, parallel with the floor.
