Ball Control for Intermediate Squash Players - Another Backhand

Strive for Ten Hits With Each Side of the Racquet, Alternating With Every Hit.

Steve Hufford
Hit gently upwards with your racquet parallel to the ground. A good intermediate squash player should certainly be able to hit ten balls on each side of the racquet without needing to lunge around the court to keep the ball in the air. Keep trying until you get it, and remember to watch the ball at all times. If the drill is too hard, go back to hitting with just one side of your racquet for a while before you try again.
