Ball Toss - Toss the Squash Ball Into the Air and Hit It Before It Bounces

Your First Forehand in This Repetitive Drill

Steve Hufford
Toss the squash ball lightly upwards and towards the side wall, and hit it with an easy forehand stroke before it bounces. Watch the ball, and aim to hit it onto the side wall, about one foot from where the side wall joins the front wall. To make the drill simple the first time you try it, aim for the ball to hit about a foot below the red service line, and hit it softly. (You can always increase the speed of your shots later in the drill.)
