A Good Squash Follow-Through Ends With Your Racquet Head Above Your Wrist

Follow Through With Racquet Head Up

Steve Hufford
This follow-through shows a racquet head that is almost straight above the striker's wrist. This is preferable to a follow-through that goes around your body, with the racquet parallel to the floor. If you routinely finish your shots with a follow-through in which the racquet is parallel to the floor, you will hit your squash partner way too often. Use your best follow-through even when drilling by yourself, and it will become a good habit.
