Racquet Preparation - Get Ready Quickly As the Squash Drill Speeds Up

Speed Up the Drill to Practice Your Rapid Preparation For Each Shot
Steve Hufford
To make this squash drill more challenging, hit the ball a little lower and harder, and you won't have as much time to prepare for each shot. In this example, the ball hit quite low on the side and front walls, and the striker has very quickly taken a backswing to prepare for his next backhand. Practicing rapid preparation (backswing) for each shot is almost as important as practicing the correct footwork and stance for hitting.
