What's Better for Your Squash Game Than a Squash Coach?
Thursday November 13, 2008
As a squash coach, I regret to admit there are several things more important than finding a coach, that can lead to very rapid improvement in your squash game:
Well, a good coach can teach you how to do #1, arrange for #2, demonstrate #3, and guide you through #4.
Invest a bit of money in some lessons with a coach, and then invest your time and effort in #1-4, and the quality of your squash game will skyrocket.
- 1. practicing on court by yourself, in a focused manner that finetunes your shots.
- 2. playing hard matches against many players who are all slightly better than you.
- 3. doing drills on court with a partner who is also dedicated to improvement.
- 4. getting fit for squash, so that you can always perform your best on court.
